Nachdem EA und Entwicklerstudio DICE das Content-Update "Tides of War Chapter 1: Overture" kurz vor der Veröffentlichung aufgrund eines Bugs gestoppt hatten, verkündigt man jetzt die sofortige Verfügbarkeit.
Das Update trägt die Versionsnummer 1.05 und ist je nach Plattform zirka 8-10 GB groß. Neben einer neuen Multiplayer-Map mit der Bezeichnung "Panzersturm" und einer neuen Single Player-Story "Der letzte Tiger" bringt das Update etliche Anpassungen und Bugfixes mit sich. Ein Übungsgelände, Fahrzeuganpassung und neue Kapitelfortschritt-Belohnungen runden das erste große Update zu Battlefield V ab.
